Help & dispatch guide
How the app works, common questions, and a practical path from your first call to getting paid.
How to use the app in 4 steps
- Find carriers: pick "Yesterday + today" and press Find carriers. Hot leads come first.
- Press ▶ Start calling: one carrier at a time with a big Call button.
- After each call, tap what happened: the app saves it and sets the next call for you.
- Every morning, open Today and press ▶ Start calling again for your follow-ups.
Common questions
From first call to getting paid
- Learn the basics first. Know the trailer types, how load boards work, what a broker does, and what a rate confirmation, BOL and POD are. Don't pay for a load board until you have a carrier.
- Find carriers to call. New authorities (last 7–30 days) are the warmest leads: they have trucks and no customers yet. Use Find carriers and filter by equipment you know how to book.
- Make the call. Ask for the owner by name, keep it short, and ask about equipment and lanes before you pitch. Use the script under Scripts & emails.
- Follow up. Most carriers sign on the 2nd to 5th touch. Log every call and set a follow-up; work your Today list daily.
- Sign them. Send a simple dispatch agreement (your %, what you do, how either side can stop). Move them to "Signed".
- Collect the carrier packet documents. MC authority letter, W-9, certificate of insurance, and factoring or bank details. Track them on the customer's checklist.
- Find a load. Search the load board for their equipment and lane. Check the broker's credit and days-to-pay before you call.
- Negotiate the rate. Know the lane's going rate per mile. Ask for more than you need, and never accept the first offer without countering.
- Get the rate confirmation. Check pickup and delivery times, addresses, rate, detention and lumper terms before the carrier signs it.
- Dispatch and track. Send the driver the load details, check in at pickup and delivery, and update the broker before they have to ask.
- Close it out. The signed BOL becomes the proof of delivery. Send POD and invoice to the broker or the factoring company.
- Get paid. Invoice the carrier your percentage once they're paid for the load.
Handling common objections
Daily routine that works
- Start with your Today list: overdue follow-ups first, then due today. Call only between 8 AM and 9 PM in the carrier's local time.
- Block 2 hours for new calls. Aim for 40–60 dials; log every outcome.
- Move carriers to the next stage in My leads as soon as something changes.
- End the day by setting follow-ups for everyone you talked to.

Terms of Service
Last updated November 4, 2026. By using DispatchWala you agree to these terms.
What the service is
DispatchWala is a tool that searches public data published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on data.transportation.gov and helps you organize your own sales calls. DispatchWala is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Data accuracy
Data is shown "as is" from public government records and may be out of date, incomplete or wrong. Authority, insurance and safety information can change at any time. Always verify a carrier on the official FMCSA SAFER website before you dispatch, book or pay for a load. We are not responsible for decisions made using this data.
Your responsibility when you call, text or email
- You are solely responsible for following all laws that apply to your calls, texts and emails, including the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, the National Do Not Call Registry, the CAN-SPAM Act and state laws.
- Do not use auto-dialers, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, or bulk text messages to reach carriers without their prior express consent.
- Call only between 8 AM and 9 PM in the carrier's local time.
- If someone asks you not to contact them again, stop and mark them "Not interested".
- Commercial emails must include your physical business address and a clear way to opt out.
Acceptable use
Do not use DispatchWala to harass anyone, send spam, commit fraud, impersonate a carrier or broker, or resell the data as a list. Do not try to break, overload or copy the service.
Your data
Your saved leads, notes, follow-ups, brokers and templates are stored only in your own browser. You are responsible for keeping backups. See the Privacy Policy.
No warranty and limit of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any lost profits, lost data, fines, claims or damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may change the service or these terms at any time. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

What we collect
When you create an account we store your name, email, WhatsApp number and password (encrypted by our login provider, Supabase), plus your saved leads, notes, follow-ups, brokers, templates, settings and how many searches and exports you used each day. We use this only to run your account and its daily limits. We don't sell your data. A copy of your saved leads is also kept in your browser so the app works fast.
Visit counts
We count visits to the app as daily totals only: how many visitors, which kind of site they came from (for example Google or WhatsApp) and whether they used a phone or a computer. No name, email, IP address or other personal detail is stored with these counts, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself on the My account page (click your name at the top). This removes your login, details, saved leads and usage records. You can also contact us from your account email and we will remove it.
Where data comes from
When you search, your browser requests public carrier records directly from data.transportation.gov (U.S. Department of Transportation). Their privacy policy applies to those requests. On the Map & trip page, the cities of your trip are sent to openrouteservice.org (truck route miles) and to the U.S. National Weather Service (weather warnings), and weekly diesel prices come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture copy of EIA data. No personal details are sent with these requests. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Calls, texts and emails
Call, WhatsApp, text and email buttons open the app you choose (for example your phone, Google Voice or your email program). Those apps have their own privacy policies.
Deleting your data
Clear your browser's site data for this page, or remove carriers from My leads, to delete what is stored. Backup files you download are yours to keep safe.
Carrier information
Carrier details shown come from public FMCSA records that carriers file with the government. If you are a carrier and want your details updated, update your MCS-150 with FMCSA.
